Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Stockton, CA. The role involves installing and servicing brake, suspension, alignment, drive train, and steering components, testing batteries, and handling TPMS parts.

You will dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and provide swift, friendly service to customers. You will use various tools, assist teammates, and sometimes drive service vehicles for offsite work or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
