Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Reno, NV to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, test drive vehicles, and perform offsite road service as needed. The role emphasizes strong customer service, safety, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.
• On-the-job training provided for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies; rebalancing wheels; and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
