Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Fremont, NE is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, and suspension systems and to perform tire-related tasks.

You will test drive vehicles, assist other technicians, and deliver excellent customer service while following company policies. On-the-job training is provided, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds; bending and kneeling.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, alignment, suspension, drive train and steering components.
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose issues.
• Dismount/mount tires and rebalance wheels; handle TPMS as needed.
• Operate service vehicle for offsite/road service; assist team as required.

Job Description:Brake & Alignment TechnicianBrake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Primary Responsibilities:Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
