Job summary

Les Schwab is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, and suspension systems, install parts, and deliver excellent customer service in line with company policies.

This role performs battery testing, tire mounting and rebalancing, TPMS work, and offsite/emergency road service with a team. On-the-job training is provided; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing/rebuilding/calibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
