Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, and suspension components and to provide excellent customer service. You will install and test braking systems, batteries, tires, TPMS, and related parts, while performing offsite road service as needed.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and the stamina for a fast-paced work environment. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
