Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering excellent customer care. The role includes test driving, offsite road service, and collaboration with team members to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications include a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary
