Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Riverton, WY is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician responsible for servicing brake, alignment, suspension, and related components, performing offsite and emergency road service as needed, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will work with hydraulic/electric brake systems, test batteries, install TPMS components, and use shop tools while following company policies and safety guidelines. On-the-job training is provided to develop skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
