Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Jamestown, ND. You will install and service brake systems, alignments, suspensions, and related components, while delivering excellent customer service. The role includes offsite road service and test drives as needed.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver’s license and can handle physical duties typical in tire service roles; on-the-job training is provided by Les Schwab.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting; standing and walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, and power steering parts.
• Test drive and diagnose vehicles; install batteries and TPMS components; service tires and wheels; rebalance wheels.

Job Description:Brake & Alignment TechnicianBrake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Primary Responsibilities:Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
