Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components and provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies and the Code of Conduct.

You will install/ service hydraulic and electric brake systems, test batteries, dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, recalibrate TPMS, and drive service vehicles as needed. On-site training is provided with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service; referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
