Job summary

Les Schwab in Ferndale, WA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components. You will work with hydraulic/electric braking systems, tires, batteries, TPMS, and driveline parts, performing offsite and emergency road service as needed.

The role requires a valid driver's license, strong customer service, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds; on-the-job training is provided, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered, including

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
