Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Oregon to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components. You will perform testing, tire services, and customer-facing duties while upholding company policies and safety standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, teamwork, and dependable service across on-site shop operations, with opportunities for training and growth within a long-standing regional tire company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
