Job summary
Les Schwab Tire Centers in Oregon is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering friendly customer service.
You will work with tires, batteries, TPMS, and drive trains, using shop equipment and tools, and may drive service vehicles for offsite work. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds; occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.
Responsibilities
- Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
- Test and install batteries.
- Dismount/mount tires and wheels, rebalance, and handle TPMS components.
- Use shop equipment and hand tools.
- Assist other employees and test drive vehicles.
- Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
- Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified staff when needed.
