Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician in Oregon. The role involves servicing brake systems, alignments, suspensions, TPMS, and drivetrain components, plus battery testing and offsite road service.

Expect on‑the‑job training, a fast-paced environment, and a focus on customer service. A valid driver's license is required to operate service vehicles and perform duties across locations.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• Testing and installing batteries
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary
