Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Oregon City is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, and to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will perform brake system work, battery testing, tire mounting and balancing, TPMS calibration, and offsite road service support. The position offers full-time hours with benefits, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace/recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools; assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles; operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
