Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Roseville, CA is hiring Brake & Alignment Technicians responsible for service and installation of brake, alignment, suspension, and TPMS components, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will inspect vehicles, perform diagnostics, install parts, test drive, and refer customers to teammates as needed. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.
excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment;
frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds;
frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
testing and installing batteries;
dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
assisting other employees;
test driving vehicles;
and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
