Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Livermore, CA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, suspension, and related components. You will test drive vehicles, dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and assist with offsite road service while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include installing brake systems, suspension parts, and TPMS recalibration, with on-the-job training provided. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lb are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing TPMS components.
• Using equipment and hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles for offsite/emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
