Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is looking for a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, and suspension systems and related components. You will test drive vehicles, handle tire mounting and TPMS calibration, and assist teammates while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications include a valid driver's license and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular lifting requirements and standing for shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing/calibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
