Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Milwaukie, OR is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, alignments, suspension and related components. You will install parts, perform tests, and help drive safety and performance across customer vehicles.

The role includes offsite road service support as needed, with on-the-job training provided. A valid driver's license and strong customer service are essential, with physical demands including lifting and bending as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and standing.
On-the-job training provided for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Responsibilities

Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train and steering components.
Test and install batteries; dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies; rebalance wheels and TPMS components.
Use hand tools and shop equipment; assist other technicians; test drive vehicles.
Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified colleagues as needed.
