Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Everett, WA is seeking Brake & Alignment Technicians to service brake, suspension, alignment, and TPMS components and to deliver excellent customer service in line with company policies.

You will install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, test drive vehicles, use shop equipment, and assist teammates. This full-time role includes benefits such as medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds; frequent bending and kneeling.
• Standing and walking for extended periods in a busy shop.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering parts.
• Test drive vehicles and perform offsite road services as needed.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, TPMS recalibration.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified colleagues when appropriate.

Job Description:Brake & Alignment TechnicianBrake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Primary Responsibilities:Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
