Les Schwab Tire Centers in Tumwater, WA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment and suspension systems while delivering excellent customer service.

You will install and service hydraulic and electric brake components, test drive vehicles, mount tires, rebalance wheels, recalibrate TPMS, and assist with offsite road service, following company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries; dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies; rebalance wheels.
• Replace, rebuild and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools; test drive vehicles; provide offsite and emergency road service.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers as needed.

Job Description:Brake & Alignment TechnicianBrake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Primary Responsibilities:Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.Experience:Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.Qualifications:Valid driver's license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.Pay and Benefits:$16.50 - $26.45For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:Quarterly BonusMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceCompany-funded retirement planPaid time offShort- and long-term disabilityEmployee discountTuition AssistanceBenefits are subject to change at any time and governed by plan documents and Company policy.
