Job summary

Les Schwab is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role involves installing and testing brake systems, tires, batteries, and TPMS components, with on-the-job training provided. Candidates should have a valid driver's license and be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and squatting.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries; dismount/mount tires and wheels; rebalance wheels.
• Replace, rebuild or recalibrate TPMS components; use hand tools; assist other employees; test drive vehicles.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Qualifications:

Pay and Benefits:

$16.50 - $28.00
