Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Washington state is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, and to safely test drive vehicles.

You will use shop tools, assist teammates, and deliver excellent customer service while adhering to company policies. On-site work, steady physical activity, and lifting requirements are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
