Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Colorado is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brakes, alignments, suspension, and related drivetrain components. You will also test batteries, mount/dismount tires, rebalance wheels, and calibrate TPMS systems, using the shop tools and equipment provided.

Customer service is essential as you interact with customers and refer to qualified colleagues when needed. This full-time role includes on-the-job training, with a focus on safety and quick, accurate

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries; dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies; rebalance wheels.
• Replace, rebuild and recalibrate TPMS components; use service tools and equipment.
• Assist other employees and test drive vehicles; operate service vehicles for offsite work.

Job Description:Brake & Alignment TechnicianBrake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Primary Responsibilities:Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
