Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Washington state is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, suspension, and alignment components, and to support customers with expert guidance. You’ll work on tires, TPMS, batteries, and related systems and participate in offsite and emergency road service.

Qualified applicants will have a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service skills in a rapid pace environment.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools; assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles; operate service vehicles for offsite/emergency work.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers as needed.
