Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Lakewood, WA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components. You will work with hydraulic/electric brake systems, test batteries, rotate tires, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS while delivering excellent customer service.

Candidates should have a valid driver's license, strong customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the physical stamina to lift up to 75 pounds

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, replace, rebuild and/or recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service; refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
