Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Washington. Responsibilities include servicing brake systems, alignments, suspensions, and drive trains, plus testing batteries and performing offsite road services. Strong customer service and physical stamina are required.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid driver's license and can lift up to 75 pounds. Company offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive wage range.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• Testing and installing batteries
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary
