Citrin Cooperman in San Diego seeks a Business Process Outsourcing Manager to lead the Advisory Department. You will run day-to-day financial operations for clients, including general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, and monthly closing, while guiding onshore and offshore staff.

The role emphasizes improving internal processes, coordinating with vendors and clients, preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and advising on technical accounting decisions.

Competenze

• Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience as Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar role.
• Experience across multiple industries including professional services, manufacturing, construction, and healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial close, budgeting and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and data integrity controls.

Mansioni

• Run day-to-day financial operations for clients: GL, payables, receivables, payroll, collections and reporting.
• Monitor team usage of internal procedures, processes and controls.
• Manage onshore and offshore staff performing transactional activities and data synthesis for client reports.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements in compliance with guidelines.
• Coordinate communications with vendors, customers, partners, banks and other stakeholders.
• Manage journal entries, reconciliations and monthly/annual closing process.
• Assist in budgets and forecasts preparation.
• Review accounting information to identify inaccuracies or imbalances.
• Convert customers to new accounting systems and perform cleanup on client books.
• Advise on technical accounting decisions and develop client-specific models.
