Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Residential Energy Auditor to join our metro Arizona team, delivering high-quality in-home energy audits for the Inflation Reduction Act program. You will review QA/QC findings and collaborate with contractor networks to support program integrity.

Qualifications

• BPI BA certification required or willing to obtain within 30 days of acceptance.
• Knowledge of building science, construction, and technical expertise.
• 2+ years in field services/quality assurance or related energy efficiency roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site residential energy audits including HVAC, insulation, windows, lighting, appliances and building envelope.
• Use diagnostic tools (blower doors, combustion analyzers, infrared cameras) to assess air leakage and energy performance.
• Collect and analyze utility data, homeowner usage, and building specs; input data into software and prioritize energy-saving recommendations.
• Educate homeowners about energy savings, rebates, and best practices; conduct post-installation inspections.
