Job summary

Qualifications

• Equivalent to education and experience that provide required knowledge and skills.
• High school diploma preferred; Nevada Teaching Certificate desirable.
• CPR certification is required for coaches/advisors involved in athletic activity.

Responsibilities

• Develops rapport with students and demonstrates leadership; promotes good sportsmanship.
• Maintains communication with Principal/Athletic Director about the programs, trips, games, etc.
• Establishes a system for accountability, upkeep, and protection of equipment.
• Attends contests and practice sessions and participates in reporting for program improvements.

Education
