Job summary

Waste Management in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Driver Route Hybrid NonCDL to fill in for others, performing confidential document destruction and medical waste removal on assigned routes.

You will provide exceptional customer service, plan daily schedules, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local rules while maintaining safety and DOT logging where applicable. This on-site role supports WMHS and Medical Waste operations and offers on-the-job training and growth.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience preferably in driving Shred Trucks and Box Trucks.
• Must be 21 or older.
• May require immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.
• Valid Driver's License.
• All CMV drivers must be able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner.

Responsibilities

• Performs onsite/offsite document destruction and transport medical waste.
• Plans daily schedule based on customers’ needs by reviewing daily paperwork.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local rules for waste handling.
• Provides the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts daily.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip checks and reports maintenance issues.
• Operates equipment safely to minimize risk of injury and damage.
• Completes required paperwork and DOT logs where applicable.
