Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving is hiring non-CDL drivers in Mobile, AL. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading household goods, leading moving crews, and ensuring DOT compliance while interacting with customers daily.

Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, are willing to travel, and can meet the company’s zero-tolerance drug policy. Compensation ranges from $19 to $21 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel locally, intrastate and interstate.
• Ability to operate a box truck.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading shipment on to and off of the truck.
• Inspect shipment prior to loading for proper packing.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
• Assist in loading trucks/containers for forward movement.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Maintain documentation for shipments, logs and DOT paperwork.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
