Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving in Alabama is seeking non-CDL drivers for loading, transporting and unloading household goods. This role offers daily customer interaction, leadership opportunities with moving crews, and growth within the company.

The position requires a clean driving record and adherence to a zero-tolerance drug policy. Compensation ranges from $14 to $17 per hour based on experience, with additional incentives for outstanding performance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to travel locally, intrastate and/or interstate.
• Ability to operate a box truck.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading shipments on to and off the truck.
• Inspect shipments prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipments.
• Assist in loading trucks/containers for interstate shipments.
• Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections on moving equipment and vehicle.
• Maintain documentation for shipments, expenses, logs, and DOT compliance.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.
