Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving in Mobile, AL is seeking CDL drivers to load, transport, and unload household goods. You will lead crews, interact with customers daily, and uphold safety standards in line with DOT regulations.

Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, are willing to travel, and can adhere to our zero-tolerance drug policy. Compensation ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED
• Clean driving record and ability to comply with zero-tolerance drug policy
• Willing to travel locally, intrastate, and/or interstate
• Ability to operate a box truck or tractor trailer per CDL qualification
• Experience loading/unloading household goods is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a company truck
• Lead the crew in loading shipments onto/off of truck
• Inspect shipments prior to loading for proper packing
• Perform inventory of shipments
• Assist in loading trucks/containers for interstate movement
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections
• Maintain documentation for shipments, expenses, logs, and DOT regulations
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle
• Other duties as assigned
