Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving has immediate openings for non-CDL driving positions in your area. We are a full-service moving company and this position involves loading, transporting, and unloading household goods.

Driving for Coleman will give you the opportunity to be a leader for our moving crews, interact with new customers on a daily basis, and grow within our company. The compensation rate for this position is $17-$20 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel locally and interstate when needed.
• Ability to operate a box truck safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team.
• Reliable and punctual with ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading shipment on to and/or off of truck.
• Inspect shipment prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
• Assist as needed in loading trucks/containers for forward movement.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on the vehicle and equipment.
• Maintain required documentation for shipments, logs, and DOT compliance.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.
