Lansing Building Products is hiring a CDL Driver. The role involves delivering building materials and supporting warehouse operations in the Dallas area. You will be the front-line Lansing representative, ensuring exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• CDL-B (or A) license is required.
• Backup CDL Driver must have a clean driving record.
• Have Moffett forklift experience.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.

Responsibilities

• Lives the mission statement and acts as a Lansing representative with outstanding customer service.
• Split time between deliveries and warehouse work.
• Make deliveries with Non-CDL Box Truck and CDL B Flatbed as needed.
• Use a Moffett forklift to make deliveries.
• Interact with customers and crews at job sites and maintain service quality.
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly and support other functions when needed.

HOME EVERY NIGHT!

Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

Lansing Driver Responsibilities

• Lives the mission statement
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Makes deliveries with Non-CDL Box Truck and CDL B Flatbed as needed
• Uses a Moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional service to each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a \"get-the-job-done\" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions not particularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

Lansing Driver Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position

• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience with building products is very helpful
