Job summary

PLA and its Family of Companies is hiring a Warehouse General Labor Box Sorter in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on manual inspection, sortation of materials, and palletizing boxes for reuse to meet production goals.

The position offers a starting hourly pay of $17 with potential increases based on performance, plus comprehensive benefits and weekly pay. Training is provided for entry-level candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours daily.
• Ability to lift and move boxes of varying sizes.

Responsibilities

• Break down boxes not received in a broken-down state.
• Inspect boxes for damage and determine reuse.
• Sticker boxes acceptable for reuse by covering barcodes.
• Palletize boxes by size.
• Meet or exceed daily production requirements, with a standard goal of at least one pallet per hour.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety rules.
• Assist with additional duties to support team operations.
