Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide bowling guests with efficient, courteous service.
• Handle all requests for merchandise redemption.
• Assist with out-of-order machines; correct them if possible.
• Report down machines in a daily log.
• Provide briefings and knowledge to new players.
• Ensure the area is safe and hazard-free.
• Coordinate with other departments on promotions and events.
• Assist Banquet team with events in adjoining space when needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of guest areas as needed.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the counter area.
• Follow safety procedures and chemical usage guidelines.
• Inspect bowling facility, arcade and public areas daily.

JOB SUMMARY

Work to provide guests with fast and friendly service while ensuring accuracy at the point of sale. Must demonstrate the ability to multi-task, maintain a clean workstation, and provide helpful information to guests regarding products, promotions, or events.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Provide bowling guests with efficient, courteous customer service.
• Handle all requests for redemption of merchandise.
• Assist with any out-of-order machines; correct them if possible.
• Report any down machines on a daily log.
• Provide briefings and knowledge to new players.
• Ensure the area is safe and free of hazards.
• Works in conjunction with the other departments on promotions, property needs along with any food and beverage accommodations requested.
• Assists the Banquet team with events held in the adjoining event space when needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of guest areas as needed.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the counter area.
• Follow safety procedures, related equipment operational procedures, and use of chemicals.
• Inspect the Bowling facility, arcade, and public areas for cleanliness and appearance daily.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Six (6) months experience in customer service/cash handling position.
• Strong computer aptitude and skills: to operate independently in POS software programs.
• High school diploma/GED or ten years’ experience OR current student 16-18 years of age.
• Effective communication skills, ability to express oneself verbally and in writing, and strong interpersonal skills.
