Raymond Burr Vineyards in Dry Creek Valley seeks a part-time tasting room associate to greet guests, lead tastings, and promote our wines with warmth and knowledge. You will present our vineyard story and wine club benefits, while handling orders in Commerce7 and reservations in Tock.

The role requires 1+ year in hospitality, a 21+ status with RBS certification, and a neat, professional appearance. Weekend availability and a genuine passion for wine are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year hospitality, tasting room, or restaurant experience.
• Must be 21+ and able to obtain CA RBS certification.
• Genuine interest in wine and willingness to learn our portfolio.
• Present a neat, professional appearance consistent with winery hospitality.
• Strong communication skills and a natural, unscripted selling style.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and host wine tastings with warmth and knowledge.
• Present wines, vineyard, and story to match guest interest and experience.
• Introduce wine club membership and ask for the sale to foster relationships.
• Process wine orders using Commerce7 POS.
• Manage reservations using Tock.
• Capture accurate guest information at checkout for our systems.
• Keep tasting room and service areas clean, stocked, and presentation-ready.
• Occasionally answer inquiries via phone/email/social media.
• Occasionally pack/ship wine orders.
