St. John Knits is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the Wardrobe Specialist and deliver the St. John Experience to clients on the floor and in the shop.

You will handle client service, merchandise placement, and sales administration to help achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals. As part of the boutique team, you will stay current on product knowledge and fashion trends, assist with alterations, and maintain a polished professional image in all client interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury retail or high-end fashion environments.
• Strong client service and communication skills.
• Ability to support a Wardrobe Specialist and manage sales-related admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support Boutique with all aspects of sales and client service.
• Assist Wardrobe Specialist by securing merchandise and replenishing floor stock.
• Use Relationship Selling to achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales goals.
• Maintain professionalism in communication and teamwork with clients and staff.
• Execute Alteration/Blocking processes per Company standards and follow-up on timely completion.
• Assist clients in Wardrobe Specialist absence when needed.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and fashion trends.
• Maintain client books and generate sales through appointments and correspondence.
• Assist in store inventories and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Participate in non-selling activities and store clean-up.
