Job summary

Peapack Private Bank & Trust is seeking a Universal Banker II in Summit, NJ. The role focuses on delivering exceptional client service, managing full client experiences, and identifying cross-sell opportunities across banking products.

Prospective candidates should have retail or hospitality customer service experience, be flexible with hours, and hold (or be willing to obtain) a Notary Public commission. The position is on-site in Summit with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer experience in Retail or Hospitality preferred, Banking experience a plus
• Must be flexible to banking hours and weekend schedule
• Notary Public commission required or to be obtained

Responsibilities

• Deliver service to clients according to protocols and best practices
• Learn and promote branch technology to clients and educate on usage
• Develop and manage consumer and business account relationships
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to partnering lines
• Open products and process transactions including deposits, loans, IRAs and CD accounts
• Provide supervision in the absence of senior bankers
• Support daily branch operations and maintain cash vault accuracy
• Maintain confidentiality and provide courteous, proactive client service
