Job summary

SBG Hospitality, encompassing The Aldenberg Hotel and The Ashbrook Hotel in Versailles, KY, is seeking a Sales & Catering Manager to lead sales efforts and drive event business development across both boutique properties.

The role requires hands-on leadership in securing group rooms, weddings, corporate meetings, and private dining, while coordinating with culinary and operations teams for exceptional execution.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities for both hotels, restaurants, and event venues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, wedding planners, event professionals, local businesses, tourism organizations, and other referral partners.
• Generate revenue through group room blocks, weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate meetings, retreats, private dining, and social events.
• Build and manage an active sales pipeline, including prospecting, lead qualification, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming sales and event inquiries while actively seeking new business.
• Conduct personalized property tours and client presentations that highlight the unique attributes of each venue.
• Develop creative and customized proposals that align with client needs while maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Negotiate room rates, event rental fees, food and beverage minimums, and contract terms within established guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through guest accommodations, restaurant experiences, event enhancements, and additional services.
• Represent SBG Hospitality at networking events, industry functions, community meetings, and business development opportunities.
