Job summary

The Room Attendant at The Joule Dallas (Highgate) is responsible for maintaining clean guestrooms and delivering courteous service to all guests. You will thoroughly clean rooms according to standards and restock supplies, contributing to a welcoming, high-quality guest experience in a historic boutique hotel.

This role requires the ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and communicate effectively with guests and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for “Lost and Found” according to the standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
