Job summary

Roam Hospitality seeks a General Manager for a full-service hotel in Bangor, ME. You will lead on-site operations, including F&B, events, front desk, and housekeeping, ensuring the property meets Roam’s standards daily.

You will partner with Roam's remote teams handling reservations, revenue strategy, marketing, and back-office support, while supervising on-site teams to deliver an exceptional guest and event experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of progressive hospitality leadership experience.
• Experience managing weddings, banquets, or group events.
• Strong knowledge of P&L, labor cost, and budget accountability.
• Ability to hire, train, and lead multi-department teams.
• Familiarity with PMS, POS, and guest-management tech.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior on-site leader for the hotel across all departments.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train on-site team members; maintain staffing levels.
• Manage daily operations, labor, and vendor relationships to meet budget and quality standards.
• Oversee events from sales to execution; ensure written BEOs and run-of-show.
• Ensure guest experience meets Roam standards and safety requirements.
