Job summary

The Peacock Inn in Princeton, NJ, is a boutique luxury hotel seeking a part-time Front Desk Agent to deliver personalized guest service and manage check-in/check-out with a warm, professional approach.

Flexibility to work weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays is required; bilingual Spanish is a plus. You will coordinate with booking, housekeeping and events teams to ensure memorable guest stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, however, not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with booking, housekeeping, and maintenance to respond to guests’ needs.
• Make reservations or appointments for guests who want to avail themselves of local entertainment or services.
• Answer guest calls and record details of each conversation for future follow-up.
• Meet and exceed guests’ expectations by anticipating the services they might require and suggesting local venues.
• Maintain communication with guests in advance of weddings, corporate retreats and other in-house events.
• Report any accidents or injuries to senior management staff immediately.
• Taking reservations, answering inquiries, communicating leads to Event Coordinator, hosting the restaurant, reporting, and other duties as assigned by the Hotel Manager.
