Job summary

Bowie House LLC is seeking a Cocktail Server to join its Auberge Collection property in Fort Worth, Texas, delivering attentive service for a luxury experience.

You will take food and beverage orders, serve drinks and meals to guest tables, and maintain knowledge of menu items and safety regulations. Flexibility to work weekends/holidays is required; prior hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
• Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine and experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.
• Must be of minimum 18 years of age.
• Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to maneuver in a restaurant setting

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation method/time, ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation
• Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
• Understand and anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time of day
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times
• Handle guest complaints following procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction
