Job summary

Bowie House, Auberge Collection, Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Cocktail Server to deliver attentive beverage and dining service in a luxury hotel setting.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving cocktails and food, and maintaining knowledge of the menu and standards while upholding state liquor regulations. A minimum of 18 years old with hospitality experience and flexible availability are required.

Qualifications

• One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
• Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine and experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.
• Must be of minimum 18 years of age.
• Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to maneuver in a restaurant setting

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests and relay to kitchen or bar staff.
• Retrieve and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications.
• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, prices, preparation methods, ingredients, and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor regulations and responsible service policies.
• Foster positive guest relations and handle complaints professionally per procedures.
• Assist colleagues as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
