Job summary

Mr C. Hotels is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to maintain and oversee the hotel’s systems and operations in Washington, DC. You will manage the engineering team, ensure preventive maintenance, and uphold safety and OSHA policies.

The role requires HVAC, electrical and plumbing expertise, strong communication, and flexibility to work varied schedules. Salary is $85,000 per year with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel engineering including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems.
• Vocational training, associate degree, certification or apprenticeship in related field.
• Must be able to read drawings/blueprints and interpret test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel operates according to Engineering standards.
• Conduct walk-throughs and assess maintenance and operation of building systems.
• Maintain Rooms and Public Area Preventive Maintenance program and records.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership and General Manager.
• Hire, train, supervise and coach engineering staff.
