Job summary

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience required, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Vocational training or associate's degree; relevant certification/licensure as required.
• Ability to read drawings, diagrams, blueprints; interpret testing equipment and measuring devices.
• Strong verbal and written business communication skills.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-focused individual who delivers great guest experiences.
• Physical ability to perform duties (standing, lifting 10–25 lbs, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel operations meet engineering standards.
• Perform walk-throughs and assess maintenance of structures and systems.
• Maintain preventive maintenance program for rooms and public areas.
• Collaborate with management and General Manager.
• Hire, train, supervise, coach associates including managers.
• Keep grounds maintained for guest arrival experience.
• Implement safety policies and OSHA HazCom procedures.
• Compensation: $85,000 per year.
