Job summary

The Peacock Inn in Princeton, NJ seeks a Front Desk Lead/Supervisor to guide the guest services team in a fast-paced luxury hotel.

You will oversee check-in/out, reservations, guest inquiries, and training, coaching, and scheduling. Strong hospitality focus and leadership are essential to delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Experience in hospitality and knowledge of billing, POS systems, and upselling are a plus. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to train the right candidate with strong hospitality skills and professionalism.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus, however, not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests professionally during check-in and check-out.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, dining, local attractions.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, upgrades, and special requests.
• Process room charges, payments, refunds, and adjustments accurately.
• Ensure all invoices and guest folios are accurate and complete.
• Maintain reservation emails and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping on room status and readiness.
• Supervise daily front desk operations and staff performance.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching.
• Create front desk schedules and monitor attendance.
• Handle cash and POS transactions securely.
