Summary

The Boutique Director leads the Lenox Square boutique to achieve and exceed sales goals through strategic clienteling, team leadership and operational management. This role is responsible for driving business performance, developing staff, and ensuring a luxury client experience. The director oversees daily boutique operations, staffing and budgeting while staying current on market and watch trends.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed goals through sales strategies, clienteling and sourcing new clients
• Evaluate team performance, provide coaching and create action plans for staff development
• Monitor market competition, watch trends and client shopping behaviors
• Strategically forecast, plan and manage payroll, staffing and boutique budget
• Manage daily operational tasks according to company standards and support building leadership
• Assist with recruitment, retention and training; cascade product knowledge to the team
• Foster a boutique environment that delivers renowned and authentic luxury service
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail service experience required, preferably in a luxury retail environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Current knowledge of watch trends and competition in the marketplace
• Proficiency with MS Office and experience using retail systems (labor management, inventory, sales reporting)
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
